Cave de la Visitation
-

There have been vineyards in the northern Rhône valley since antiquity and numerous Roman archaeological finds attest to this fact. In the Middle Ages, the Rhône Valley vineyards enjoy a revival thanks to the Church which re-established the “Great Terroirs of the Rhône Valley”. At the time, the wine from Condrieu was used as an altar wine and aged in the galleries that run under the village.
The “Cave de la Visitation” range is a tribute to this skill and expertise in vinification, ageing and showcasing of wines with a strong northern Rhône Valley identity.
